Hello Once Again Everyone---
Haven't used that in a while, but it's been a while since I have been able to say the following………
Effective Wednesday May 24th, 2000 and until June 1st, 2000, I will be on a vacation. This is my first trip away since March of 1998 that isn't business or ECW-related. Why am I kicking off a column with this? Welp, earlier this year, I took a bit of a break. I went off to the nice burgh of State College, PA and a much needed weekend away. I chose not to tell anyone in advance and make my travel schedule public knowledge. So, should there be any problems or situations, the site is being left in the extremely capable fans that help us out here running ECWNews.com. Thanks in advance guys, I'll be poking my head in occasionally. But, not that much- the point of vacation is to relax and enjoy yourself. I'm really looking forward to just getting away from everything for a week. It's something I wholehearted recommend that you do. That is what is so neat about CyberSlam, I know folks are using some vacation time to come up, so not only is it a time to experience the difference that is ECW, but to get out of the house and enjoy themselves.
Other than that, I don't have much else to say this week. I got so busy packing, doing wash, checking emails, paying bills, etc. I almost forgot that I promised you folks "a big announcement". I know there's a lot going on in ECW right now. I want to publically wish Lance Storm nothing but the best in his endeavors in Atlanta. Lance is a hell of a talent and a true professional. He will be truly missed in ECW. The situation with Raven is getting more interesting. I hope that it works out well for both parties.
I know I am a little late on this one, but I got a lot of emails and IM's from folks about this column Mark Madden wrote about ECW and it's fans. Umm, yeah. Not to negate his opinion, he is most certainly entitled to his opinion, as I am mine- BUT- one problem. In case no one checked lately World Championship Wrestling employs Mark Madden. His column is posted on an Internet site that is owned by another employee of World Championship Wrestling. Sorry, guys, but your "opinions" don't really influence this columnist.
Anyway, thanks again for reading, sorry I was a little late in getting this up and out to you all. Thanks for all the kind emails recently, folks! The support is appreciated. Thanks for getting us to 200,000 hits!
