Unforgiven was a fitting name for the WWF's PPV on Sunday. There were certain points in time I got confused. I thought for a moment that someone was ribbing me and they put in a tape of  a WCW PPV.
Everyone now and then someone is allowed a mistake or a "mulligan" for those of you golfers out there.
Sunday was McMahons.I think that most folks are going to remember the woman's match says alot.

What makes Unforgiven even sink lower in my eyes is that it took away something I was really excited about. The Dudley Boyz debut on a WWF PPV. Right now, WWF is made up of guys just thrown together and called a tag team. X-Pac and Kane seem to have an on again/off again relationship. The New Age Outlaws don't know who's side is who’s. At least the Holly's have the right idea and are just beating the hell out of each other. Must be wanting to avoid the Christmas rush or something.

Out of all of the recent additions to another organization (read as subtraction from ECW), the Dudley Boyz are most certainly living up to all the hype. When you were able to get past all of the baiting and nonsense that Buh Buh Ray did all too well- one fact remained in the ring. There was one hell of a tag team there.

It became to sound like senseless rhetoric in the promos. "We split up the Eliminators, split up the Gangstas, broke the Sandman's neck in front of his pregnant wife, broke the neck of Beulah." Even though it was to be looked at or rather heard as "wrestling put asses in the seats" hype. It was true. The Dudley Boyz did all that. They left as 8 time ECW World Tag Team champions and left indelibly in our minds one finishing maneuver that was voted as finisher of the year in the annual ECW Newsletter awards. That being the 3 D, the Dudley Death Drop. Check with anyone from Rob Van Dam to Sabu to the Sandman to even ring announcer Bob Artese, the move is a devasting one.

Now, I'm not trying to come across as some big mark or even more so a big Dudley Boyz mark. I guess what I am trying to do is explain that its not very often that a tag team comes on the scene that is able to stay together as long as the Dudleys have and have the impact on the sport that they have had and will continue to have.

As much as I will miss seeing them live at ECW shows and miss the abuses of Buh Buh and having to duck when objects are being tossed at them, I go back to something I touched on in an earlier column.... someone asked me if I was happy to see the Dudley Boyz leave ECW. I answered yes and now that I think back on that, I answer yes again. They have certainly made the most of the opportunity given to them by the WWF and know it’s just a matter of time until they are wearing the WWF tag belts. They are certainly one of the best tag teams in all of pro wrestling.

I'm looking forward to seeing their career soar in the World Wrestling Federation
