Well, not just yet, here a few final thoughts from this week’s “winner”

The fans comments were interesting, even some of the columnists themselves checked in…

It was everything for hopes of More Irish Luchadors, to punking Frank Romero out, to even some nasty personal attacks against our editor.

What’s interesting about that is that once again the sites Editor, BJ Leiby remains once again unscathed more than that, he received almost the lowest total of everyone out there. Hmm, so my guess is that the person who has such the vendetta against Mr. Leiby didn’t push it enough on their websites or on the websites that they so conveniently have their head placed up the rear end of.

Anyway, I digress.

BJ, the other, remaining, senior staff and myself had a meeting this week. We were concerned about the low voter turn out. Hmm, we thought what was the deal? Well, people take vacation the last week of July, was it that? People using their voting to see whom Regis’ next co-host is going to be? Folks holding that vote in place to wait for the Republican Convention on its way to Philadelphia? Well, we got to thinking and decided that people might not be taking this seriously. That it didn’t mean anything. Well if you check the column area, you’ll see ECW Kat Fite and David Pantone’s columns gone. But, still that doesn’t make you into believers.

I received a few emails saying that, oh is this legitimate; what really happens to people when they get voted off? They’ll be back. Nope. When people read “ the winner will decide the fate of the others”- they were, like, yeah, with Misnik and BJ looking over their shoulder. Sooooo, we raised the stakes just a bit.
Not only does the winner of the competition, the sole survivor if you will, able to decide the fate of the others, BUT- the site is theirs. Yes, to do with what they will, to run it as they wish. Turn it into a Rockin Rebel fan site for all we know. Ownership of the site will officially change to this person. You anal retentives out there can check that one on register.com once we’re done.

So, lets take a look at the results…..

I’m not surprised that Dave Pantone is gone. I mean, the kid hasn’t submitted a column since March. My guess is that the last minute surge is what got him done. People nervous about g ward maybe being gone. It seems as though g has at least one more week to incense and inflame. Lets hope he makes the best of it.

Once again, the big shock wasn’t who ended up getting the boot. BUT- who’s left. The fact that I am still around and also the fact that our sites editor BJ Leiby are still around is surprising as well. Now, with the site on the line, lets hope that the fans respond accordingly this time out.
 

It’s now down to eight of us.

I got many emails asking what would have happened should a weekend in a tie- well both would be banished.

The summer continues to heat up here. Keep with us here at ecwnews.com and hey, I might write a real column some time soon. Nah, that might get me booted. I don’t want that to happen……..
